We believe in full transparency. Here's a simple, honest breakdown of how you're protected — and what to check before you drive off.
As a licensed rental company, Wolf Premier Drive LLC carries commercial automobile liability insurance on every car in our fleet, meeting all Nebraska state requirements. This protection is already in place the moment you rent — you don't have to arrange it.
If you're in an accident that is your fault, our commercial liability coverage helps pay for injuries and property damage to other people (the other driver, their car, etc.), up to the policy limits required by Nebraska law — $25,000 / $50,000 / $25,000.
Liability insurance does not pay for damage to the rental car itself. If our vehicle is damaged, stolen, or vandalized during your rental, that's covered through a different route — your own coverage or your security deposit (see the next steps).
You have three easy ways to be protected against damage to the vehicle:
• Your personal auto insurance usually extends to rentals (collision & comprehensive).
• Your credit card may include rental car protection (CDW) when you pay with it.
• A short-term stand-alone rental policy (e.g., Sure, Bonzah) for full peace of mind.
Credit card rental protection works differently from a regular insurance policy, so here's the honest breakdown:
• You must pay for the entire rental with that card to activate it.
• It usually covers damage or theft of the car only — not injury or damage to other people (liability).
• It's typically reimbursement-based: if there's damage, you settle with us first, then your card company pays you back after you file a claim with your receipts.
• It's often secondary coverage (applies after your personal insurance). Check your card's specific benefits before your trip.
You are responsible for any damage to the vehicle that isn't covered by your insurance or credit card. Your refundable security deposit may be applied toward uncovered damage — and is returned in full when the car comes back in the same condition.
To keep things simple and protect both of us, please bring: a valid driver's license, proof of your auto insurance (a photo of your insurance card is fine), and a credit card in your name for the deposit. Renters with their own coverage qualify for our standard deposit; if you don't have coverage, we'll simply go over your options first.
(1) Call your auto insurer and ask: "Does my policy cover rental cars?" (2) Check your credit card's rental car benefits. That's it — now you'll know exactly how you're covered.

Good to know: Under Nebraska law, we can never force you to buy extra insurance to rent from us. You're always free to rely on your own policy or credit card coverage — no pressure, no hidden add-ons.
